Being a student and a participant of NYC skateboarding for many years, I was honored to be able to contribute some artwork for the screening of this: Deathbowl To Downtown

To all concerned: I am alive.

I've been quite busy. Here is a quick, partial rundown of what I've been up to.

Two branding jobs of mine went live on the internet this week..

http://www.apple.com/webapps/entertainment/outalot.html featured as a staff pick. I designed it from the ground up...

I created the brand identity and the official site launched this week. Arron Bleasdale of Ever Growing did a great job.

I received a package of clothing in the mail from DVSN this week for collaborating on this shirt (named "the Nishimoto tee" :) Everything fit great, looks great and the quality was top notch.

I will have some artist shirts coming out with sixpack. Check out their newly revamped site...

Also, a limited deck for FTC Tokyo will be dropping soon... soon to be posted on my site (as well as other new works, logos, etc.). So please check back.

Last but not least, I have switched to indy trucks for now. So far, so good.

Spoke: Bicycle Film Festival Exhibition, 2007

I just finished a piece for an art exhibition in the Spoke Bicycle Film Festival happening in Melbourne, Australia. The challenge was to re-interpret a tarot card (which couriers would use to identify themselves in alley cat races), and my concept was to place an eerie, classic statue in a post-apocalyptic global warming setting.

Harry Jumanji Run-In

I ran into old school NY graffiti writer/skateboarder Jumanji at a spot last night and he busted out this beautiful handstyle for me and my friend Joy (visiting from SF).

He carefully placed it in this manilla envelope (which had "Always HiLite in Orange" written on it) and explained that it stemmed from the buddhism belief that the "sunrise and sunset" were important to (his) life. I thought that was pretty cool and have always been a fan of of his Supreme tee (sorry I couldn't supply a larger image to do it justice).

New Painting

I recently made a 4' x 4' acrylic/gesso painting of this image. It is up for sale. Also available are slightly smaller - 40" x 40" (instead of 48" x 48") photoprints on handstretched canvas. Email for pricing inquiries.

Check back for more to come!
